Rock music has so little presence in mainstream media at the moment that it exists in its own separate musical universe. But as it comes back into fashion over the next few years some of the artists who have already made their name in the rock community will break through, and Dear Prudence have a great chance. They may have chin piercings and tattoo sleeves but their clothes are more Urban Outfitters than Hot Topic. Singer Madeleine Poncia is pretty with a good voice, so would be an easy sell to casual rock fans. Whatever happens with Dear Prudence, she is definitely one to watch.
