Future Stars: Xander The Great (Unsigned)

Xander The Great sound like Frank Ocean and A$AP Rocky mixed with Craig David, which in these days of early 2000s nostalgia might just be a recipe for success. They are a multi-talented duo from London, made up of Xander Taha, who sings, produces and raps, and Ed Sanders, who produces and sings. The first song I heard, the forthcoming single Bloodhound, had potential. However, it was an earlier track called Custom Love that made me see them as real contenders for the UK answer to the indie-R&B trend. The song has now been removed from Soundcloud, which suggests it's lined up for a future release as Xander The Great's fanbase grows. (Amazingly, after writing this I discovered Xander is a Craig David fan!)
