Another teen pop star who signed a major record deal last week is Little Nikki and like Elyar she started out as part of a group. You might recognise her as the curly-haired youngest member of Soundgirl. Her look is very current and her voice is conveniently Rihanna-esque. These factors were combined with a brilliant song produced by K-Gee and video directed by SBTV's Paris Zarcilla to turn Intro Intro into an online hit, which got Nikki a lot of label interest. In the end she signed to Columbia, and has already supported one of her new labelmates Rita Ora for her first ever solo gig. Not a bad start!
