I first discovered Elyar Fox when he was part of a McFly-esque band called Just Me Again, and picked him out as one to watch. About a year later (with a new name – his real surname is the slightly less catchy Afshari), he's signed a solo deal with Polydor and Global Talent, the label linked to the Capital radio network. He's a cute, charismatic boy with a fairly good voice but, like Conor Maynard, Lewis Watson and the rest, his best talent is self-marketing as he got himself over 8 million YouTube views before he even had a manager, let alone a record deal. These kids should be giving seminars at music conferences!
