Wondering who will be the first Korean pop act to have a worldwide hit has been a hot topic of conversation among K-pop fans, but few would have guessed it would be PSY. He's a rapper whose single Gangnam Style has been no. 1 for five weeks in Korea, and the amusing video and dance routine have gone viral even outside of K-pop's large fan community. The new king of one hit wonders (and a likely candidate for "the next Simon Cowell"), Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun, signed PSY to a joint deal with his label Schoolboy and Universal Republic last week, and since then he's appeared on the VMAs and even been played on Radio 1!
