Future Stars: Klingande (One More Tune/Warner Music)

Dance duo Klingande are French but their band name and the title of their debut single are both Swedish. Klingande means sounding (i.e. making a sound) and Jubel means joy. Jubel is spreading around Europe and has so far topped the charts in six countries (although oddly only no.39 in France). The UK could well be next as there’s already a growing buzz about the song, which has reached the Shazam pre-release top 20 two months before it’s out. Jubel is a light, uplifting electro house track made more distinct by its use of piano and saxophone. Most of the song is instrumental, but when the vocals come in it’s lovely – I’d like to hear a full vocal version.
