For those who don’t know you already, can you describe your music in five words?
Pop, Noir, Mysterious, Sensual, Dramatic.
You’ve already collaborated with some really exciting people, but who would you most like to add to that list?
Patrik Berger, Basement Jaxx, Daft Punk, Richard X – I’m addicted to bass, so I love my tracks to have to have an element of darkness and mystery whilst still making you want to get up and dance. All these producers, for me, have that edge, that something special.
What is the inspiration behind your distinctive look?
Anything that catches my eye or stands out. I’m partial to leather, prints, costume jewellery and a statement pair of shoes. I like to have fun when I dress up, but I’m still very classic, I like long dresses, lace, high collars.
Are you good at playing cards?
I don’t have the attention span or patience for card games, other than snap. But, I can pull a mean poker face.
What can we expect from your performance at This Must Be Pop Live?
Come with an open mind, it’s left of centre pop music, so expect a performance of that nature.
