Future Stars: The Lumineers (Dualtone/Decca)

Not to be confused with British pop group Luminites, The Lumineers are a Colorado folk-rock band with a member called Jeremiah. That may not sound like a recipe for UK singles chart success, but throw in a major advert sync for their new release Ho Hey and you'll understand why it's currently hanging around the top 10 on iTunes. It's sweet and twee but the "ho"s and "hey"s add a bit more punch. Overall it's very Mumford and Sons. Their self-titled album has been out for a few months and has been climbing the charts thanks to Ho Hey's success, peaking at 21 this week.
