I know it’s terribly unfashionable to support Meghan Trainor these days, but I don’t care. That’s not a good enough reason to deprive you all of this purely joyous pop song. All The Ways is a 3 minute burst of sunshine and smiles, with no trace of complexity or reality. Escapism is what pop music should be all about: 3 minutes in an alternate universe where unconditional love exists and life can be a perfect flawless dream, soundtracked by sweet harmonies, hand claps and infectious hooks. And in my alternate universe, there are no party poopers making us feel ashamed for liking something uncool. They can stay in the real world where they belong.
