I’ve been listening to lots of new albums lately, but it’s nothing to do with the arrival of Q4. The albums I’m enjoying are all debuts by international artists (and Future Pop alumni), such as Tove Lo, The Griswolds and Zara Larsson. While Zara’s album is my least favourite of those three, it’s still a strong start for a young star who has huge commercial potential. With a late 90s sound, Wanna Be Your Baby was an instant stand-out track for me, as it reminds me of the hits from Robyn’s debut album, though it should also appeal to fans of Ariana Grande. My other favourite tracks include Weak Heart, Skippin a Beat and the latest single Rooftop.
