The Royal Concept are another new act who are breaking through in the US thanks to great TV exposure. Their single On Our Way was covered on a recent episode of Glee. However, the group is actually Swedish, and Scandipop fans will be impressed to learn that between them they have performed with Robyn, Tove Styrke and Veronica Maggio. On Our Way is anthemic electronic indie-pop, the exact midpoint between the typical American and Swedish indie-pop sounds. I'd personally rather they go less American (i.e. less repetitive shouty male vocals) but imitating that sound probably is the key to success.
