Party Like a Pop Star

There are a few fun pop events coming up in the next few weeks and I wanted to let you all know about them…

29th Sept – BWO at Borderline
They may not have had the chart success they deserve, but it’s nice that BWO recognise their dedicated UK fans enough to come over for a gig. Unless I missed one, they haven’t been here since the GAY performance and before that was only the PJ gig back in 2007. I’ve seen them a couple of times in Sweden at big outdoor gigs but it’s always more fun in a smaller venue, especially since it’ll just be us lucky few who ‘get’ BWO and we can all share in the knowledge of our excellent taste!

16th Oct – Love Machine
One of the best new pop blogs of late is Love Machine, so I’m very much looking forward to their club night, where there will be performances from some of pop’s most exciting new talents. The acts for the first night haven’t been announced yet, but I’ve heard they’re in talks with some people who I think will be absolutely brilliant to see live, so I recommend you keep an eye on this one.

Those two are both in London, but don’t worry if you’re elsewhere in the UK as there are tours coming up from Alphabeat and Erik Hassle (supporting Little Boots), so you can still get your live pop fix! Visit their official sites for all the details.

  1. i’m really hoping to be down for BWO, but unless i pull a sickie from work it’s unlikely. I’ve never heard of Love Machine but I like what i see 🙂
