Goldroom is Los Angeles producer Josh Legg, who has made a name for himself with a series of ethereal electro-pop tunes featuring female vocals. My attention was first attracted by his summery Say Lou Lou collaboration Sweetness Alive and it was new single Only You Can Show Me, featuring less well known singer Mereki, which convinced me to feature him here. Only You Can Show Me takes a while to fully kick in but it's worth persisting. I love the colours of the bright yet dreamy video and the fun mix of dancers, who don't look like models but bring the song to life. Like his music, Goldroom's career is gradually building, with support so far from Radio 1 and MTV.
