If you have been wondering where I was this week, there were many reasons for my absense. First of all, I couldn’t see Dirrrty Pop for some reason – the site just wouldn’t come up, so that was very annoying but luckily it has fixed itself now. Secondly I accidentally fell in love with Snow Patrol and managed to play their album 7 times within 24 hours after I got it even though I was at school or asleep most of the time. It is an amazing album that doesn’t sound like Coldplay at all. Even Run sounds great in the context of the album. I wonder if I will still like them next week or if I just have some kind of illness. I think I will, but don’t worry, I will not be becoming a pretentious indie girl now or ever. Although I was quite scared when I realised I own 3 albums in the current top 10. That’s 1/3. Then again, I will not be listening to Snow Patrol (much) this weekend as my Alcazar CD has arrived and it is so poptastic that it kinds of weighs out the indieness and I am safe once again.
