Time to announce the third act for next month’s This Must Be Pop Live! The gig will take place at the Queen of Hoxton on April 16th, and will feature Tinashé, Bright Light Bright Light and…
HANDS!
After being part of a few different indie/electro-pop acts in their home of Norway as well as the UK, Håkon and Sofie have come together to make properly poptastic pop music as HandS (pronounced “hands”). Until recently all that was known of them was their music video for the Popjustice-approved No Romance, but now they’re preparing to release their new single Wake Up.
The band’s influences include Robyn and Rihanna, and they’re working with Pete Hoffman (Kylie, Annie, Rachel Stevens) and some other very exciting names which I can’t yet reveal, but I promise you’ll be impressed. I’ve heard a couple of new songs and can’t wait to hear more at This Must Be Pop Live. Check out the video for No Romance below and click here to hear a clip of Wake Up.
