Despite their annoying name (will someone tell us what belongs to The Mowgli??), I’m a big fan of the new single by The Mowgli’s. I think it could be the next “adult contemporary” worldwide hit, in the vein of Little Talks, Jumped Up Kicks etc. I first wrote about The Mowgli’s here in 2012 and I can’t say they’ve been a runaway success since then – in fact, I’d pretty much forgotten about them. But I think I’m Good is their moment. It's extremely catchy from the start, with a very simple chant-along chorus, and has to be one of the most uplifting songs I’ve heard in a while. If this isn’t a hit, I can only assume that the world wants to be sad.
