The Mend headline This Must Be Pop Live

Unfortunately Little Nikki is no longer able to perform as planned at This Must Be Pop Live on 19th March at Queen of Hoxton, but the show will go on and I have found a very exciting new act to take her place…

THE MEND!

We’ve got pop, rock and R&B boybands in the charts, but I think there’s a big gap in the market for the 21st century East 17 or 5ive… and that’s where The Mend come in! They’re four normal lads from Manchester with great voices and plenty of attitude. They sing, rap and put on a fun, high energy live show. You might recognise them from the finals of Britain’s Got Talent 2012, but they didn’t let being beaten by a dancing dog stop them – they’ve just finished touring with Little Mix and they’re now about to release a very catchy new single, Where Were You.

After Britain’s Got Talent ended, The Mend were offered a deal with Sony but bravely turned it down to release music on their own terms, with the help of their manager Nigel Martin-Smith, famous for launching Take That. So far it’s going very well with a crazy fanbase of teenage girls (and grown-up fans too!) following them wherever they go, both in real life and online. The Where Were You video has already been viewed over 300,000 times on YouTube in just two weeks! There are plenty more catchy tunes where that came from, so come along to This Must Be Pop Live to hear them for yourself.

  1. I’ve ordered some tickets for Tuesday, was just wandering if that includes meet and greet at all?
