Regular collaborators The Knocks and Sofi Tukker reunite for a track much more chilled, but just as delightful, as their 2017 triumph Best Friend. Brazilian Soul is a hazy, summery disco-pop tune with a mix of English and Portuguese vocals from Sofi Tukker’s lead singer Sophie Hawley-Weld. It also reminds me of the delicate, sparkly electro-pop that Norwegian artist Bertine Zetlitz used to make in the 2000s. Brazilian Soul appears on The Knocks’ new album New York Narcotic, which came out on Friday.
