At age 27 and after 12 years as a professional singer and songwriter, Sevyn Streeter may have felt like her chances of making it big were running out, but finally she’s starting to establish herself as a solo artist. Sevyn (real name Amber Denise Streeter) was part of major label girlbands TG4 and RichGirl, before signing to Chris Brown’s label imprint CBE in 2012. Her latest single, romantic slow jam It Won’t Stop, features Chris and is becoming her breakthrough hit, with 17 million YouTube views and counting. In addition to her own material, Sevyn has co-written hits such as Yeah 3x by Chris Brown, New Day by Alicia Keys and The Way by Ariana Grande.
