Simon Amstell, acetastic ex-host of T4’s Popworld, is making his way back to the small screen as he will soon be taking over the role of host on BBC music quiz Never Mind The Buzzcocks. He previously guest-hosted the show and was very good so I think this is a good move for him.
I couldn’t bring myself to watch any of the V festival on TV this weekend, but I hear that brave pop invaders Girls Aloud went down very well. Now if only someone could make a whole festival for proper pop music (but not a rubbish chav fest like Party In The Park) then I might be more tempted to watch or even attend!
