September’s This Must Be Pop Live is now just one week away, so it’s time to get to know the performers! Danish star Nabiha will be travelling over especially to introduce herself to the UK pop scene. Here’s what she had to say for herself…
Can you describe your music in five words for those who haven’t heard of you before?
Pop music from the heart
Do you get lots of people asking to touch your hair?
Yes often, haha! I find that people are very respectful, and also generous with the compliments when it comes to my hair. I really appreciate that.
Have you been to London before and if so, what’s the best and worst thing about our city?
I wrote most of the first album in London, as well as the album I’m working on right now. I love it here, the energy, the music, all the different cultures, but I wish you guys could drive in the right side of the lanes instead of the left. It always takes me a couple of days to adjust.
Which Danish singer or band would you recommend us to check out?
Ah, there are so many, but to mention a few: Fallulah, Asteroid Galaxy Tour, When Saints Go Machine, The Floor Is Made Of Lava – the list goes on, but if you should ever come to Denmark, I’ll show you around 🙂
What can we expect from your performance at This Must Be Pop Live next week?
You can expect positive pop music you can dance to, a high energy performance, and my smiling face looking straight at you! I’m very excited about the show, and I’m gonna give you my very best that’s for sure.
