Madison Beer is a 14-year-old pop star who became famous in July 2012 when Justin Bieber tweeted a link to her video on YouTube. The Biebs has since been credited with "discovering" her… because of course an international pop star has nothing better to do than watch random cover videos. And of course it's just a coincidence that she is also managed by Scooter Braun. The video for her debut single Melodies racked up 1.8 million views in the first ten days, undoubtedly helped by Justin's cameo, but it is a cute pop song with a very catchy hook, co-written by Ina Wroldsen. It's early days yet, but it's certainly a contender for the next Call Me Maybe.
