Remember the Irish girlband Bellefire? Well, imagine them as a dance act in 2016, and that’s what the new single from LA duo KOLAJ sounds like. It’s a pretty, catchy, folky song which builds into a festival-friendly dance anthem. The Touch was originally shared online last summer, but was officially released to Soundcloud and Spotify last week under KOLAJ’s new deal with Interscope. The track is already taking off on Spotify, with over a million plays in just 2 weeks. The group, made up of singer Teesa and producer Mighty Mike, describe their sound as “euphorock.” I’m not sure about the rock bit, but it’s certainly uplifting.
