Before writing this, I knew nothing about Juicy J apart from the fact that he's got influential friends. With recent collaborations including Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber, he is basically the rap version of DJ Cassidy. After some research, I have discovered that he is a member of rap group Three 6 Mafia and was signed by Dr Luke last year. His first album for Kemosabe reached no. 4 in the US chart (a bit better than his previous album, which was no. 106!) and his very explicit single Bandz a Make Her Dance, a Mike Will Made It production, was certified platinum and bizarrely critically acclaimed.
