Future Stars: Amber (Sony RCA)

Amber is a group of posh boy students, all aged under 21, who signed to RCA this week after a few months of building a fanbase at gigs and online. Their music is a mix of Bastille and Kodaline (another RCA act), and accompanied by a very professional music video for their self-released single Noah, there was no doubt they'd get a major label deal. However, I wasn't so keen on their Imogen Heap cover, which makes a cool, quirky song sound a bit dirgey. As Record of the Day recently noted, it's likely they'll have to change their name as it's used by several other artists, most notably the female dance singer Amber.
