Future Stars: Imagine Dragons (Interscope/KIDinaKORNER)

I was barely aware of them until recently, but apparently Imagine Dragons were one of the biggest breakthrough acts in America this year. Although they are an ugly, hairy indie-rock band, they've broadened their appeal by collaborating with producer Alex Da Kid, responsible for hits such as Love The Way You Lie. Their single Radioactive was featured in the new Twilight film and is currently on the Radio 1 B List, while another track It's Time was covered on Glee. It's the kind of radio-friendly, vaguely hummable but overall forgettable rock music that will get teenagers interested in rock again, and for that reason I cannot support Imagine Dragons.
