Jonsi is Iceland’s top male singer, age 26, he began his career in the band Í Svörtum Fötum (Dressed In Black) and recently starred as Danny Zuko in Grease.
Sakis, Greece
This 29-year-old is not only a successful Greek pop star but also a talented gymnast and has even pole vaulted for the Hellenic National Team, explaining last night’s energetic routine perhaps.
Ramón, Spain
Ramón is just 18 and came 2nd in the 3rd series of Spain’s answer to Fame Academy, Operación Triunfo. He was born on the Canary Islands and loves water sports, in which he has won several national level competitions. These Euro hotties are a sporty bunch!
And last but by no means least:
James, United Kingdom
We all know who James is but there doesn’t seem to be much support for him on the net. I have to stick up for him due to a. his FA roots, b. his Alistair friendship and c. his utter loveliness. The song is admittedly rubbish but it will do reasonably well on Saturday and should restore a bit of dignity to us as a Eurovision-entering country. Come on the UK!
