I know Disclosure are supposed to be the cool new thing, but their hit single Latch just sounds like Sam Sparro or Ali Love to me. It's disco in disguise, but disco shouldn't have to be in disguise! Nonetheless, Disclosure are a big talking point in dance music right now, especially as the band is made up of two brothers who are only 17 and 20 years old. Their sound is described variously as garage-house and synth-pop, but there's not much pop to their pre-Latch releases. You can, however, hear a previous Future Pop star Sinead Harnett on one of their songs, Boiling.
