Cinnamon Girl is one of those artists where no-one can quite believe she isn’t the product of a major label. Until a few months ago, she didn’t even have management! The industry-savvy former model, whose real name is Camilla Roholm, created her pop persona Cinnamon Girl and set about recording some great electro-pop tunes with cool vocals and big hooks. She looks like a star and sounds like a star, and soon she surely will be one.
So far Cinnamon Girl has released three free download singles, Now I Know, Friends and Devil In Me, uploading a strikingly stylish and colourful video for each track. Although she’s had support from many of the top pop and indie blogs, she’s still relatively unknown and is yet to play her first gig, but when she does it’s certain to be packed with industry types desperate to get a piece of this exciting new talent.
