Bipolar Sunshine is the pseudonym of Adio Marchant, an up-and-coming male singer who contacted me early this year. I told him that I liked his song but couldn't post it on Future Pop until I saw some momentum and buzz. I stayed true to my word, and here he is. Adio was signed to Universal before, as a member singer of Kid British, but his solo material is quite different. It's contemplative indie-pop with soul and a clear gospel influence. So far he's had over 600,000 Soundcloud plays, collaborated with Rudimental and played at the iTunes Festival, so he could be an early contender for the Sound of 2014 list.
