Future Stars: All About She (Disturbing London/Atlantic)

If you've heard a song on the radio recently that you thought was a lost Mis-Teeq classic, chances are it was the new single Higher (Free) by All About She. They started out as a two-man British production team, and became a proper pop group when they added female singer Vanya Taylor to the line-up. They make catchy, girly garage, but their music video set in New York suggests they're wisely trying to avoid being pigeon-holed in that UK garage scene. They need to take reference from it, pick up some nostalgic fans, then move quickly on. Higher (Free) is already on the edge of the iTunes top 10, a great start for a debut single.
