Wild Cub are from Nashville, but their music isn’t country. It’s indie-electro-pop. They’re currently on tour with The 1975 in the UK, and they’re set to release their debut album Youth later this month. It was the latest single Thunder Clatter which caught my attention, and although it hasn’t made a huge splash as yet, and they’re only on a small independent label, I decided to feature them here on potential alone. Thunder Clatter has such an uplifting, sweet and summery sound, I think they’ll win over lots of new fans at the festivals this year. I suggest an August re-release! Their other tracks aren’t quite so infectious but one good song can launch a career.
