Trivia: I feel bad to choose something so mainstream but this song is the one that will always remind me of 2007, holds so many great memories, and still sounds as brilliant as it did 8 months ago. As with With Every Heartbeat, its huge success shows that there is no point complaining that the charts don’t reflect actual musical quality, because if a song is good enough it will find its way to the top. If an artist isn’t getting the chart positions they deserve, then they’ll just have to make something even better, until its brilliance can be denied by no-one.
