I’m a bit late on Susanne Sundfør, because I ignored her for ages thinking she was a boring indie-folk artist, when actually she makes very cool, quirky electro-pop. I should have had more faith – she is Norwegian, after all! Fade Away was the first single from her new album, Ten Love Songs, which is released this month. I was lucky enough to get a preview of the album recently and I can assure anyone who likes the singles that they will love the album. I recently came up with a simple way to summarise my music taste, “the closer to ABBA the better,” so Fade Away’s ABBA-esque sounds (mixed with an equally appealing Kate Bush influence) made it an instant favourite. Check out new single Delirious for another taste of the new album, and you can see Susanne live in London next month.
