… and I’ve got a special Christmas competition for all you Swedish pop fans! On Boxing Day I will begin my countdown of the 25 most poptastic singles of 2010. Last year I chose Hurtful by Erik Hassle as my song of the year, but unfortunately I seem to have cursed him and I’m pretty sure he ended up losing his record label a LOT of money in 2010. Some of that money was spent on bizarrely random promo items, which I happen to have recently acquired a package full of thanks to my friends at Teen Today.
So back to this competition I mentioned. I have 4 sets of Erik Hassle goodies to give away, including:
– Promo CDs of Hurtful and Don’t Bring Flowers, featuring loads of cool remixes
– An Erik Hassle puzzle (cos his album was called Pieces!)
– An Erik Hassle badge
– A signed postcard promoting Hurtful and the album
I think it’s a pretty cool prize, if only as a memento of the time when the UK music industry believed in Erik.
