Song of the Week: Miami Horror ft. Cleopold – Love Like Mine

Those of you who miss Alphabeat need to hear this new disco-pop tune from Australian “indietronica” act Miami Horror. It’s no Fascination or 10,000 Nights, but it’s still a very enjoyable example of this style, which we don’t hear much of these days. I haven’t been a big fan of Miami Horror in the past, but they’ve been getting progressively better of late. Their 2014 single Wild Motion (Set It Free) was quite listenable in an MGMT/Empire of the Sun way, and they’ve definitely gone pop with Love Like Mine. It’s the fourth single from their second album All Possible Futures, which finally comes out next month, five years after their debut album Illumination.
