This new single by Norwegian duo KREAM and Swedish singer Clara Mae sounds like a collaboration between Major Lazer and Tove Lo… and now I really want that to happen. In the meantime, Taped Up Heart is plenty poptastic enough to keep us going. It’s a super-2016 mid-tempo dance-pop track packed with quirky sound effects, a strong lyrical concept and a sweet Scandinavian vocal. The catchy single is out now on Warner Music’s dance label, Big Beat. It was co-written by Clara and another pair of Swedes on the rise, songwriting duo Shy, made up of Shy Martin (aka Sara Hjellström, the featured artist on Mike Perry’s The Ocean) and Shy Nodi (Nirob Islam), who are also credited on The Chainsmokers’ latest hit, All We Know.
