Despite the presence of Ali Love, I wasn't interested in Hot Natured until Vice described them as "house music's Boyzone." I presume they meant it as an insult, but it inspired me to finally give Hot Natured a listen. They are part of the current house revival (see also Disclosure, Chris Malinchak, Duke Dumont), which seems to be an antidote to dubstep and EDM, and another example of the 90s becoming a cool reference point. Hot Natured have risen to fame so fast that their first ever live show was at the huge and prestigious Brixton Academy.
