For once, I’m very glad I was wrong

Westlife are NOT no.1 in the midweeks! Joy to the world, but especially me. So let’s see if I was right. The order I rated the chances of the songs released this week was:

Westlife & Diana Ross – When You Tell Me That You Love Me (Most likely)
Nizlopi – JCB
Robbie Williams – Advertising Space
Crazy Frog – Jingle Bells/Can’t Touch This
McFly – The Ballad Of Paul K/Ultraviolet
Keedie Ft England Cricket Team – Jerusalem (Least likely)

And the actual order of those songs:

Nizlopi – JCB
Westlife & Diana Ross – When You Tell Me That You Love Me
McFly – The Ballad Of Paul K/Ultraviolet
Crazy Frog – Jingle Bells/Can’t Touch This
Robbie Williams – Advertising Space
Keedie Ft England Cricket Team – Jerusalem

So, I underestimated McFly (their fanbase are obviously still strong enough to prevent an embarrassing chart position) and, most interestingly, overestimated Robbie. Is it just me who thinks his new song is the best ballad he’s done in years, has his failure to rejoin Take That lost him fans, or is everyone just bored of him? Only time will tell!
