Here are all the singles that I am eagerly anticipating in teh next few months:
May 17
Calling – Our Lives – finally being released, should be their biggest hit since Wherever You Will Go
Jason Downs – Shut Up (Let’s Hook Up) – much better than his old songs and he looks lovely in the video
Sarah Connor – Bounce – Sarah’s best song in my opinion and hopefully will be more successful than previous US singles
May 24 (aka Will concert day!)
Hoobastank – The Reason – best rock ballad in ages, but their other material is quite rubbish
Kristian Leontiou – Story Of My Life – another ballad that is growing on me, would like to hear more from him
O-Zone – Mai-Ia-Hii – should be the europop tune of the summer, as long as it does as well here as in Europe
Pop! – Heaven And Earth – only for it’s ace middle 8
Twen2y 4 Se7en – Hide – They’re brilliantly rubbish, but I do like this song
May 31
Mario Winans – I Don’t Wanna Know – this is already never off the video channels and destined to be a huge hit
VS – Call U Sexy – I’m guessing this is one of the songs they worked on with Stargate cos it’s fab and very catchy…sorry!
June 7
Britney Spears – Everytime – great song and great video but I’m still unsure about them together, still it’s Britney!
Scissor Sisters – Laura – great new video gives this song a new lease of life and will sell lots more of the album…as if they need it!
Speedway – In And Out – far better than their previous efforts, very poppy and catchy, I love it.
June 14
Javine – Best Of My Love – slightly disappointing song on 1st listen but I like her so I’ll keep trying with it
Phixx – Wild Boys – Duran Duran cover, don’t like the original but love Phixx so they may save it
S Club 8 – Involved – the return of the 8 and I can’t wait!
June 28
Lindsay Armaou – Innocence (What U Got) – Lindsay from B*Witched, can’t wait to hear this
Mania – Looking For A Place To Go – the writers of GA & Sugababes’ best hits start their own band, this is bound to be ace.
Will Young – Friday’s Child – This is a very good choice for 3rd single off the album, shows what Will is capable of
July 12
Darren Hayes – Popular – I couldn’t possibly be more excited about this song. My old fave releasing a single about the music industry. Even has ‘pop’ in the title. Could be the new Pop!
