The third and final video in Asami Zdrenka’s Cover Trilogy is here! Although I already featured her back in August, I had to pick Strange and Beautiful as my Song of the Week as it’s my favourite in the series. After tackling electro-pop and 90s rock, Asami takes on Aqualung’s 2002 top 10 hit with an intimate, heartfelt performance that shows off her vocal talents. The covers have received a great response from fans and press, with early champions including Idolator, Line of Best Fit, Clash and Record of the Day, and anticipation is building for Asami's original material. She's currently busy in the studio writing with a diverse and exciting mix of producers. It's been a great year for new female artists, but Asami's unique voice, style and perspective will ensure she stands out from the crowd.
