As I revealed yesterday, This Must Be Pop Live will be monthly from now on and moving to a new, bigger venue, The Queen of Hoxton. Now it’s time to announce the first artist who’ll be performing at next month’s gig, which will take place on April 16th.
TINASHÉ!
London-based singer Tinashé performs soulful indie-pop, influenced by his Zimbabwean roots. He released a very good album called Saved through Island Records in 2010 and is currently working on the follow-up. I’ve seen him live a couple of times before and have always been impressed by his strong voice, fun outfits and engaging personality.
Watch the video below of my favourite Tinashé song Zambezi to get an insight into this unique pop performer, and check out his YouTube for loads more like this.
